North Korea accuses the U.S. of pursuing hegemonic and militaristic policies. These policies worsen the global situation and threaten stability. The country emphasizes that unilateral actions and U.S. dominance can lead to wider conflicts.

In Moscow, from May 27 to 29, North Korea’s Minister of State Security, Ri Chang-dae, attended a security meeting. He said that the U.S. pursues its own power and interests. This approach conflicts with the global desire for peace and cooperation. According to KCNA, Ri Chang-dae vowed that North Korea would not tolerate hostile acts that threaten its sovereignty and dignity. Instead, North Korea plans to respond with justice and strength.

The 13th International High-Level Security Conference included about 120 delegates from 100 countries and organizations. Ri Chang-dae expressed concern about the worsening global security situation. He described a “vicious circle of confrontation and conflict” affecting many parts of the world. His words highlight North Korea’s commitment to defend itself. They also serve as a warning against U.S. policies that threaten global stability.
