BANDUNG, SEATIZENS – Israel has repeatedly targeted Hamas officials in Lebanon over recent weeks. As a result, several senior Hamas leaders have been killed. Hamas confirmed that 18 of its commanders died in these attacks.

According to Al Jazeera, The Israeli military has yet to comment on the airstrike near Tripoli. Meanwhile, Israel expanded its military operations into Lebanon after nearly a year of border clashes with Hezbollah.

Most of the combat is concentrated along the Israel-Lebanon border. This escalation coincides with Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, further intensifying the conflict.

Explosions echoed through Beirut’s southern suburbs on Saturday morning. Israel had reportedly warned residents in the Dahiyeh neighborhood before the strikes. However, it remains unclear how many civilians managed to evacuate in time.
