BANGKOK SEATIZENS – A dangerous accident occurred in Pathum Thani on November 29 when a broken streetlight caused a sedan to crash into a guardrail. The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on Phahonyothin Road at kilometre 42, near Talad Thai. Emergency responders found the black Honda sedan severely damaged and on fire after the crash.

According to Thethaiger, The fire was quickly put out, but the car’s engine was severely damaged. Driver Thitiphat, 33, said the broken streetlights caused him to lose control while driving home from Bangkok University. He escaped before the car caught fire.
Following the crash, local authorities were urged to fix the broken streetlights, which have been a recurring issue. Residents expressed concern over the dangers of poor visibility, especially at night, and called for more reliable streetlight maintenance to prevent future accidents.
