Sirinatda’s Side of the Story: Denial and Evidence
Sirinatda, who turned herself in on October 24, denied all accusations. She stated that she had access to the condominium only to rent it, paying 120,000 baht in advance at Thanattha’s request to help the couple financially. Sirinatda provided screenshots of conversations with the couple, showing instances where they borrowed money and pawned jewelry as collateral. Additionally, she claimed the five bags she left in the condominium contained woven bags, not cash, and offered her maid Tom as a witness to this.
Counter-Accusations and Police Uniform Controversy
Sirinatda didn’t just deny the allegations; she countered by sharing a photo of Thanattha in a police uniform, a uniform she allegedly wore without proper authority. Thanattha served as a special lecturer at the Royal Police Cadet Academy but was not a police officer. Sirinatda suggested that this was an unlawful use of the police uniform.
Investigation and Bail Decision
The Phra Khanong Police Station Superintendent emphasized that the investigation would follow due process, regardless of the accused’s identity. Officers granted bail to Sirinatda after over four hours of questioning. Her lawyer announced plans to pursue legal action against anyone damaging her reputation.
Big Joke’s Role and Public Reaction
Big Joke did not attend his wife’s police questioning and has not commented publicly on the accusations. News channels reported that after the questioning, Sirinatda quickly exited the station in her Lexus, shielded by a policewoman from the media.
Further updates are expected as the investigation continues.
